Our school can help with enrolment queries throughout the year.

Enrolment area

All newly-arrived students from a language background other than English who live in the Evans IEC drawing area in Western Sydney are referred to our Intensive English Centre for assessment of their English language proficiency before enrolment in high school.

How to enrol

Contact us when you’re ready to enrol your child in our school. You may need to attend an interview with the principal. There you can discuss any medical conditions or other special circumstances before your child starts school. We may also complete a risk assessment on the enrolment.

For more information, visit:

Download an application to enrol (PDF 5.9MB).

The application form must be completed in English. However, a translated application to enrol may help you to fill out the form in English.

Non-local enrolments

As outlined in the department’s enrolment policy, our school may accept enrolments from outside our local enrolment area if places are available.

How to enrol

Telephone the Centre on (02) 9622 1289 to make an appointment for an assessment.

When making the appointment, the Centre will need the following information: the student's name, address, contact telephone number, date of birth, date of arrival in Australia, language spoken and visa subclass.  If the assessment shows they need intensive English instruction, students then enrol directly in the Intensive English Centre. Assessments and enrolment interviews are held every Thursday during term.

A parent/guardian must accompany the student to the interview to sign all necessary documentation. Please allow 3 hours for the assessment and enrolment process.

Temporary visas and international students

For information about eligibility and forms to complete, visit the Temporary Residents Program.

Distance education

Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.

Distance education schools also provide single subjects for students in Years 9 to 12 to enhance curriculum choice. Please contact us for details.
